So the HSG went well.... if you couldn't guess by my new crush on my own reproductive system. I have to admit it was love at first sight. *Sigh*
Everything looked clear, everything looked normal, and my RE was impressed by the small amount of dye it took to get spilling from both tubes. It did hurt like a b**** for about 30 seconds there, but other than that, I am pain free.
Now come on ovaries, get with the program and get ready to spit out some beautiful eggs!! I get to check in on your follie growing abilities on Monday, and you really don't want to end up as the ugly duckling of my reproductive organs, do you?

yay!! i'm so glad that everything went well -- i think it's so important to see your insides and hear from a specialist that things are looking good. it puts you in a positive frame of mind and relaxes you a little.
it's so nice ot hear that you have a perfect little snuggly home for a fertilized egg!! woop!!
So glad to hear the HSG went well! I'm so happy for you!
Yay- after hearing bad news about yourself in other departments, it is all the more lovely to hear that some parts are functioning beautifully!
*shuttering at the memory of my HSG* RE told my husband, after it was all over, that I changed religions 5 times during the procedure--praying to everyone from God, Jesus, Mary, Joseph and anyone else who would listen. The pain was short, but made a lasting impression..lol!! So glad your's went well!
Happy ICLW #41
So glad your HSG went well. One more hurdle down.
Best wishes on your next cycle!

It's really SO wonderful that you feel so much love for your body - and I mean that sincerely. Struggling with loss and infertility often creates so much hostility towards one's body, and I think it's so refreshing and healthy that you're so in love with yours! You rock!!!
I hope that pretty little uterus is hosting a healthy, happy little wombmate really soon.
